Judging the 2018 Great Pepperoni Roll Cook Off

This past weekend I was honored to serve as a judge for the 4th Annual Great Pepperoni Roll Cookoff, where I had the pleasure of tasting pepperoni roll renditions from 11 competitors.

Pepperoni rolls have to be one of my favorite foods on the planet and not simply because they are a West Virginia staple. I love how versatile they are and the fact that they can come in all different shapes, sizes and varieties; with or without cheese, stick, sliced or ground pepperoni, soft bread or dense. The possibilities are endless but they are ALL amazing in their own unique way. I mean whats not to love about a hunk of bread stuffed with cheese and meat?!

My fellow judges, Sher Yip and Candace Nelson, and I determined that the winners of the 2018 Great Pepperoni Roll Cookoff were:

*Get ready to drool over the greasy cheesy goodness!*
